The Shelter house at the end of the drive was in need of a new roof, repairs, and paint. So we set to work tearing off the old green shingles and getting it covered in tar paper and shingles.

We scraped the old red off and painted it brown to match the shingles.

We also planted some bamboo from our friends in Virginia, so we’ll see how that does here in the “North.”  Then we got a new mailbox with our name and street number to make us easier to find.
